Underspeed Vehicle Permits Now Being Issued

The Defiance Police Department has begun issuing Underspeed Vehicle Permits. Please see the Inspection Sheet (PDF). The requirements are listed on that form. All Underspeed Vehicles must be in compliance with City Ordinance, as well as the requirements listed on the Inspection Form (PDF).

License and registration through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) is required before the inspection is completed. In addition, proof of insurance must also be provided. Inspections will be completed on Mondays only, by appointment only.
