ANNUAL PARADE OF HEROES TOY/GIFT DRIVE: December 4, 2021

On Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 12:00 Noon, area Law Enforcement Agencies, Fire Departments, EMS Units, and Santa will meet at the Northtowne Mall for the annual Parade of Heroes to participate in the 27th Annual Christmas for Kids Campaign promoted by iHeart Media and Local Retired Marines Volunteers.

The parade will start at the Northtowne Mall parking lot in front of the new Ollie’s Store. The parade will go south on N. Clinton St. into the downtown in a single file line to Triangle Park. The parade will turn left onto Arabella St. and turn left again to go around the triangle and then back northbound on Clinton St.  The parade will then end in the 400 block of Clinton Street alongside the State Bank and Trust Company where Santa will be delivered.  Gifts collected by the first responders will then be delivered to the representatives of iHeart Media and Local Retired Marines Volunteers who will be set up on the corner of Clinton St. and Third St. in front of the State Bank and Trust Company.

The community is asked to show their support for our First Responders and join them in the downtown area for the Parade which will showcase Santa, Law Enforcement vehicles, Fire Trucks, Ambulances, and EMS vehicles.  For those not able to make it to the downtown area, feel free to watch from any other part of the parade route on N. Clinton St. from the Northtowne Mall to the Downtown.
