On Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 12:00 Noon, area Law Enforcement Agencies, Fire Departments, EMS Units, and Santa will meet at the Northtowne Mall for the annual "Parade of Heroes" to participate in the "29th Annual Christmas for Kids Campaign" promoted by iHeart Media and volunteers from Marine Corps League 758.

The parade will start at the Northtowne Mall parking lot in front of the new Ollie’s Store. The parade will go south on N. Clinton Street into the downtown in a single file line to Triangle Park. The parade will turn left onto Arabella Street and turn left again to go around the triangle and then back northbound on Clinton St.  The parade will then end in the 400 block of Clinton Street alongside the State Bank and Trust Company where Santa will be delivered. Gifts collected by the first responders will then be delivered to the representatives of iHeart Media and Marines Corps League who will be set up on the corner of Clinton Street and Third Street in front of the State Bank and Trust Company.

The community is asked to show their support for our First Responders! Join them in the downtown area for the Parade which will showcase Santa, Law Enforcement vehicles, Fire trucks, Ambulances, and EMS vehicles.  For those not able to make it to the downtown area, feel free to watch from any other part of the parade route on N. Clinton St. from the Northtowne Mall into the Downtown.
